We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

What is the Foodbank?
The Foodbank is where many people within our community come to receive support because they simply cannot afford the necessary food required to live. Our team’s ultimate goal is to see themselves made redundant, to see the day that Foodbanks are no longer required in the world.
They also do so much more than provide food parcels. They put on different events for clients, they support them emotionally as well as spiritually and they get services such as Citizens Advice or Christians Against Poverty to come along and offer themselves to the clients.
